Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Baseline mobile application ("App") operated by Baseline ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Baseline is a personal accountability application designed to help users complete 30, 60, or 90-day challenges focused on building healthier habits and reducing dependency on constant stimulation. The App provides:

• Pre-built and customizable challenge templates
• Daily rule tracking and progress visualization
• Personal commitment contract signing
• Reminder notifications

Important: The App is an accountability and tracking tool only. It does not block, restrict, or prevent access to any applications, websites, or content on your device. Your success depends entirely on your personal commitment and choices.

3. Subscription Terms

Baseline offers premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

3.1 Subscription Options and Pricing

• Weekly Subscription: $4.99 USD per week
• Yearly Subscription: $29.99 USD per year (equivalent to $0.59 per week)

Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region. The price displayed in the App at the time of purchase will be the price charged.

3.2 Free Trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to premium features at no charge. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.

3.3 Payment

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial period, if applicable). All payments are processed by Apple through your iTunes Account.

3.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate you were originally charged.

3.5 Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase. To cancel your subscription:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
• Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)
• Tap Subscriptions
• Select Baseline
• Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period.

3.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect for the billing period following notice to you. Your continued use of the subscription after notice constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. No Guarantee of Results

The App is designed to support your personal goals, but we make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding:

• Specific outcomes or results from using the App
• The effectiveness of any particular challenge or rule
• Your ability to complete any challenge
• Any health, wellness, or lifestyle improvements

Results depend on individual circumstances, commitment, and effort. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

5. Health and Medical Disclaimer

The challenges, rules, and content in Baseline are for general informational and wellness purposes only and are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

Before starting any challenge, especially those involving dietary changes, substance use, fasting, or significant lifestyle modifications, consult with a qualified healthcare professional if you have:

• Any medical conditions or health concerns
• Eating disorders or disordered eating patterns
• Substance use disorders or addiction concerns
• Mental health conditions including anxiety or depression
• Any condition that may be affected by lifestyle changes

If you experience any adverse effects while using the App, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.

6. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose as a personal accountability tool
• Take full responsibility for your own choices, actions, and results
• Not rely solely on the App for any health, medical, or therapeutic decisions
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design, graphics, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the App are owned by Baseline or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works based on the App or its content without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BASELINE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Baseline and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Baseline regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
